Freedom?

Given some space to spread my
wings,
Prepared for all that freedom
brings.
My wings wont flap I cannot
fly,
Harder it becomes as time goes
 by.
Motionless in the same
 position,
Unable to handle the sudden
 transition.

  1. It is very true that when freedom is begged for people cannot grasp what to do with it. You captured the struggle nicely with this poem.

  3. Very well said. I love "my wings wont flap I cannot fly". Good self-awareness in this poem. I picture a bird standing on the edge of the nest......very soon:flying!:)

  6. I usually don't leave blahh comments, and cliche "Oh I liked this bla bla bla" but...I think I liked this one so much...I can't really go into detail too much as to why I like it..it's very....let me put it straight "Simple and Clean".

    Thanks for sharing.
